Yo Juggy, is the server running? Once I tried to connect, it said 'end of stream' and shows that the server is offline (least for me it does).

NationsRP / lrrpcompat: 1.0

Hi guys. I tried to hop on our minecraft server, and it said it couldn't load the forge loader indicating I'm missing this file (lrrpcompat: 1.0). Any assistance will be greatly appreciated - will probably start hopping on the mc server a bit more as it is something I can just mess around with whenever.

General Discussion / Re: Greetings

Hi there Dustin,

Normally I would have replied earlier, but you showed up just as I was moving locations. I just came back to the US after a long stint overseas. Getting set up all over again!!

I had a heck of a good time during that first bank heist we were all a part of, and I believe that was the last time I was able to get on the Altis Life server. Wolf and Juggy have kept me up to date on all the happenings on the server since my hiatus, and it sure sounds like you guys are doing exceptionally well. Now with the addition of yourself and Killer I believe, LRRP is definitely becoming the group to be reckoned with. If I've left anyone out, I apologize.. I need to get updated as to the squad's current events.

I sure hope we get the chance to play some more in the near future.

Is that why nether ores stopped exploding? I noticed this the other day...

That's good news. Have been spending time reinstalling the games. In the process of copying over DayZ and the other mods.

Wow... sounds like the beginning of the end to me... seems like they are trying to kill the mod? Either A, they want to force people into Standalone or B, have more control over the mod to prevent people from playing with it/modding it even further.

Damn.. luckily GTA V is just around the corner. Might also get some of us to take a second more closer look at Battlefield 4.

I wonder, will ACE be similarly affected as well?

NationsRP / Raw Carbon Fibre Recipe
« on: July 22, 2014, 09:07:47 am »
This recipe is also incorrect in-game. It indicates 3 coal dust is necessary; however, you need 4 coal dust to craft raw carbon fibre.

Just form a square in a crafting table and you are good to go.

DayZ / Re: DMRs and disappearing towed MTVRs on Takistan server.
« on: July 21, 2014, 11:37:13 pm »
As far as the vehicle goes, I think Wolf talked with you about the 'disappearing' vehicle. It's a glitch that occurs - more than likely the vehicle is back where it was originally hooked up at.

As far as DMR's go, you can pick them up off of dead AI in missions. I know on Chernarus you can buy/sell DMR's at the black market trader in Stary. I think the same is true in Takistan, but been a while to know for sure so am not 100% sure. They do spawn on the AI though. If someone has it on Takistan, it's more than likely a legit find.

NationsRP / MV-Transformer Recipe
« on: July 20, 2014, 06:15:28 pm »
The recipe for this item is incorrect in-game. The following items are necessary:

1 Basic Machine Casing
2 Copper Cable (insulated)

Place the Casing in the middle row of the crafting table with the Copper Cable placed above and below the Casing. This will yield create an MV-Transformer.

Though Clodbum is registered on the forums as well as yourself, he is not a LRRP clan member. There is a difference between registered users and LRRP members. You can easily tell because we use ARMAII's squad .xml feature and LRRP members are all tagged as such with the squad.xml. As far as anyone goes with regards to pvp, anyone is fair game. So by all means, enact revenge. Totally fine by any of us and would be what we'd do.

As far as increasing the build limit, LRRP will definitely discuss this. This is a pretty good idea actually; will get back to you once we've all had a chance to discuss it.
12-Hour restarts as well.

As far as dropping vehicles... well... if you release the vehicle close to land, it's fine. If you drop them from too high a height, boom. It isn't a problem nor do we see it as one. If you were to drop a large vehicle from too high a height in real life, it would have a similar effect. That said, first time I dropped a vehicle, the same thing happened (lost a Ural, Fuel Truck and UAZ).. but if you release the vehicle close to ground level (or with the tires just above or below land) it works okay. I have seen some servers disable it (cause of griefing possibilities), others with it active - we prefer it active since it is a bit more realistic that way. Bases are OFF LIMITS to griefing, so vehicles can't be used as bombs!

Hope this helps and addresses at least some of your concerns.
