Character Killing (PVP)

       1.     Can only affect criminal (-50 and below alignment) characters.

       3.    An attempted CK has to be posted in the correct section and correct format.

       4.     The event must be posted within 2 hours of the death.

       5.    Make sure the post shows the time stamp in system tab.

       6.     When CK takes effect, CK’d player has 24 hours to settle his affairs while staying out of RP as if the character was already dead. This is to allow for transfer of      leadership and necessary administration before we delete the character from the database.

War time

1. Two or more guilds/factions can formally declare war on each other. A declaration of war must be posted on the forums along with historical events and/or reasons explained in detail as to the cause of the war.

2. The goal of the war must be apparent and upon conclusion of the war, any peace treaty or negotiation must be followed by both parties without exception.

3. KOS is allowed after the war has been declared but only in the affected regions which will be marked on the map.

4. You are not allowed to change your settlement’s heraldry after a war has been declared. (Until after the war.)

5. All alignment hits happening during a confirmed war can be requested annulled.

6. CK can be part of the war, but has to be signified as the war goal and affected character has to agree to it with the war declaration. Keep it RPly.

Economy

The economy of Albion is very coin centric and quite fluid thanks to the Port of Albion which keeps independent trade relations with some of the merchants willing to take the risk upon themselves for some extra profit, outside of their usual dealings amongst the nearby empires. It is up to You how You use your coin. Here are some basics

You should know:

Denominations
•1 Gold coin is worth 20 silver pieces or 400 copper pieces respectively
•1 Silver coin is worth 20 copper pieces
•1 Copper coin is worth a wenches wink

How can You make money?
•Each new character gets credited with 2 gold, 35 silver and 100 copper upon joining the server. This only happens during character creation and if you lose that money, it will not be refunded.
•Port of Albion will be happy to buy Your excess stock of items, the traders there are not overly picky as they can monetise virtually anything with the other merchants. Of course they will aim to profit as well, so you might stand more from selling those materials directly to other settlements on Albion who actually need it.
•Regular events will award coin for victors in their respective areas and the amount varies event to event
•You can try to steal the money from other players, but don’t whine when they band together and hunt you down.

What can You use the coin for?
•Port of Albion is able to fill orders for virtually anything, although it will cost You. Remember, there are pirates asail in the waters of Albion and merchants take a risk sailing there.
•You can trade with other settlements and can likely reach a more favourable price with them, as well as haggle. Skilled merchant might even profit from this.
•Coin is sought after, thus it can get you pretty much anything. You just need to find the right person for the job and offer the right amount of compensation.
•You can run your own events and offer prizes for the victors, getting renown in return. Great way to make allies, wouldn’t You say?
•And last but not least Port of Albion can accept and fill construction contracts.
